JOURNEY LINEWORKER

The position is responsible for the construction and maintenance of distribution overhead and underground lines. Requires knowledge of safety regulations and the methods, materials and tools used in line construction, troubleshooting skills and energized lines up to 15-KV. Qualifications include: high school diploma or equivalent; possession of journey lineworker’s certification; possession of or ability to obtain commercial driver’s license. Applicants who are presently enrolled in a recognized lineworker apprenticeship program and have completed at least 2 years of a four year program will be considered for employment at the apprentice lineworker level. ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN “A”

The Technical Department of Carthage Water and Electric Plant is accepting applications for the position of Electrical/Electronics Technician A. The essential functions of this position are implementing the expansion our current SCADA system to include additional utility infrastructure and supporting the ongoing operation of the utility SCADA system. Applicant must be able to design, build, install and maintain automation and control systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs. Salary range $15.78-$24.79 per hour. Excellent benefits.
